As CEO I took over management following several years of poor performance. In less than 12 months I restructured operations and turned the business around from losses to profits and regained lost market share. New products were added cost-effectively by switching to an offshore development model.

November 2005 - June 2011DatatraceDNA evolved out of a joint venture with the CSIRO to develop a world first product authentication chemical which gave products their own DNA. With customised applications across inks, plastics, metals and paper it provided IP protection in industries with high risk of fraud. Appointed as General Manager, this role was expansive and included responsibility for patent management, licensing, research, product development, marketing, sales and support. The product and patent development process was complex and exhaustive requiring tailored development and close consultation with clients each step of the way.

September 2001 - June 2005Midstreet advised technology companies on product and growth plans. In mid 2003 Midstreet structured a deal to secure software IP from St George Bank. The software was further developed by Midstreet as a wealth management front-office and sold to ING Bank India in late 2004. The Midstreet partnership was dissolved at the conclusion of the ING deal in May 2005.
